    Managing Director

    Managing Director of Australia Performance Vehicles Pty Ltd (APV). The company derives approximately $15 million in turnover from 2 Australian manufacturing locations with exports to USA, Europe and New Zealand. The company employs over 90 personnel in Australia, USA and NZ.

    During his career, Harry has developed a broad business background across Automotive, Defence, Aerospace; Logistics and Maintenance Management; and commercial distribution industries. He has extensive Strategic Planning and Cost Benefit Analysis expertise across several industries.

    Harry has a Bachelor of Economics degree from Sydney University with a double major in Operations Research and Economics. Harry has been a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors since 2005.

  • Steve Cooper

    General Manager APV-T

     

     
    With over 25 years’ experience in design, development, and dynamic testing across Automotive, Aerospace, and Truck industries Steve brings a significant depth and breadth of skills to APV-T. Whilst his main focus is to manage and support the day-to-day test requirements of our existing customer base, a major part of his role has been to grow the Test Centre’s technical capability that has permitted us to diversify into new applications and industries.
    Steve has a Masters’ degree in Stress Analysis from the University of Strathclyde, an MBA from the University of Glasgow, and is a time-served Fitter/Turner. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and holds Chartered status conferred by the Engineering Council of the UK.

  • Chris Sweetman

    General Manager

    General Manager for APV Safety Products and based at Campbellfield, Melbourne. Chris is an experienced business manager with over 17 years’ experience in the Automotive Sector. He ran the NZ operation for Autoliv prior to APV purchasing the business and now looks after the New Zealand Customers and Sales activity for APV.

    With a Customer Service focus and in-depth understanding of the Aust and NZ vehicle market, Chris has extensive experience in the development of solutions to the demands for seatbelts in the replacement and new vehicle build markets, including the Coach and Fork Lift markets.
